Personalised Care & Treatments
We value every patient as a distinct individual with unique medical needs. Our hand doctor understands that every patient is an individual whose living can be compromised by his/her condition. Thus, we pride ourselves on providing the most personalised clinical care possible and treatment outcomes. Our hand surgeon tailors the treatments based on your lifestyle, requirements and healthcare needs, minimizing the effects of the treatment on your daily activities so you can live comfortably through the process. At our centre, we believe in providing personalized care as it allows for better surgical outcomes and faster recovery as well as creates a supportive environment for our patients.
My greatest joy is to see patients regaining their ability to move their hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I see a hand specialist?
Consider seeing a hand specialist in Singapore if you are experiencing pain, bruising or swelling in your forearm, wrist, hand or fingers that has lasted for more than three days.
What is the difference between a hand surgeon and an orthopaedic surgeon?
An orthopaedic surgeon specialises in the musculoskeletal system and is familiar with general medical and surgical treatments. A hand surgeon is trained in both orthopaedic and plastic surgery but is a subspecialist in the treatment of the hand, wrist and upper extremity.
Is hand surgery considered high risk?
As with any other surgery, hand surgery comes with its fair share of risks and complications related to the surgery itself as well as anaesthesia. Common risks include bleeding, infection and injury to nerves or tendons. Thus, it is advisable to consult your hand surgeon before surgery to clarify any doubts you may have.
How much does hand surgery cost?
The cost for hand surgery varies according to your condition and the type of surgical treatment needed. It is recommended that you speak to your hand doctor to find out the exact cost and how your insurance coverage might help.
What are the most common hand surgeries?
Carpal tunnel surgery, trigger finger surgery, tendon repair, nerve repair and fracture fixations are some of the most common hand surgeries performed.
Is hand surgery serious?
The success rate for hand surgery is high with good outcomes in terms of pain relief, range of motion and grip strength. The results are fairly predictable, hence hand surgery is worth a try if your hand surgeon has recommended it.
